Cargo spacecraft "Progress-M 17M"

Mission Report:

• The Progress M-17M cargo ship was launched on Oct 31, 2012 and docked with the Zvezda module after a 5 hour 52 min flight.
• PROGRESS M-17M carrying three tons of provisions for the International Space Station has intercepted the complex for docking just six hours after launch. Instead of performing the usual two day rendezvous profile however, PROGRESS M-17M instead performed an accelerated six hour (four orbit) rendezvous profile - the same type of maneuver that was successfully demonstrated on the Progress M-16M/48P mission in August.
• Progress M-17M undocked from Zvezda at 1202 UTC on Apr 15, 2013 and is carrying out Radar-Progress ionospheric tests.
• Progress M-17M, completed its Radar-Progress experiments and fired its engine to deorbit on Apr 21. The burn at 1407 UTC lasted 173s and reduced velocity by 90.0 m/s, lowering the orbit from 354 x 411 km to 63 x 394 km, with debris impacting the Pacific at around 1502 UTC.
